Jay is currently a Partner at Softbank China & India Holdings.? Prior to joining Softbank, he was a co-founder in a number of Internet companies and a private investor; he was also an advisor at SeaRainbow.? Between 2004 and 2005 Jay served as a Board Director of Ourgame, after successfully assisting Shenzhen-listed SeaRainbow's subsidiary Ourgame in its $100 million transaction with Korea’s NHN in 2004.?
Jay spent 15 years in New York.? He worked on Wall Street from 1995 thru 2001, during which he was employed at Bear Stearns and BlackRock Asset Management in their Mortgage-Backed Securities Department and Fixed-Income Pricing Department, respectively, and then as a head trader at a New York hedge fund.? Jay came back to China in 2002 and spent half a year as an advisor at leading Chinese investment bank ShenYin WanGuo's proprietary trading department.
